STEM Summer Camp (June - August 2014)
In June 2014, Al Alfi Foundation for Human and Social Development (AAF) lunched a new STEM Science Summer Camp for Experimental Schools (Millennium Schools) at AAF premises. Four rounds with a total of 173 students participated from Primary and Preparatory levels.
The Summer Camp STEM activities involved the following:
• Try Engineering Series (more than 100 engineering projects): Building Wind Mills, Towers and Bridges, Ferry wheels, measuring win and more.
Eligible students are offered the opportunity to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers who shared their exceptional abilities and love of learning.
Enrichment Programs for Gifted and Talented Students
Al Alfi Foundation for Human and Social Development held a STEM Summer Camp for Gifted and Talented Students from National and International Schools, at Hayah International Academy. 15 students participated in the round from grades 2-4 and 6-8.
