Mr. Adel ELALFI (b. Cairo, 1973) is one of Egypt’s leading executives in the field of food products and grain commodities.
Since 2010, he has held the position of Managing Director of the Cairo Poultry Company (CPC), a publicly listed enterprise on the Egyptian Stock Exchange. He is also Vice Chairman of the Egypt Kuwait Holding Company, a diversified investment firm specialized in fertilizers, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and infrastructure, and holds several other positions including Chairman and Managing Director of the Cairo Feed Company; Managing Director of Cairo Poultry Processing Company (Koki); and Chairman of Eastern Company for Economic Development. He holds significant investment portfolios in Egypt and the UAE including property, stocks, and financial instruments. Mr. ELALFI also sits on the board of the Al Alfi Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to human development and the promotion of STEM education, entrepreneurship, and innovation in Egypt and the Middle East. He currently divides his
time between Cairo, Egypt and Dubai, UAE.

Mr. Adel ELALFI (b. Cairo, 1973) is one of Egypt’s leading executives in the field of food products and grain commodities. He started at the company in 1996 in the poultry operations division and rose through the company over the years to hold various positions including processing and operations manager, corporate finance and investment division head, feed division director, and general manager. He is also Vice Chairman of the Egypt Kuwait Holding Company, a diversified investment firm specialized in fertilizers, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and infrastructure, and holds several other positions including Chairman and Managing Director of the Cairo Feed Company; Managing Director of Cairo Poultry Processing Company (Koki); and Chairman of Eastern Company for Economic Development.
In addition to his positions in Egypt, he is also a 50% partner in Eastern Investment Ltd (JAFZA), a company that invests in fast food restaurants, and Solidarity Development Ltd (JAFZA), a company that has been investing in property in Dubai since 2008. His investment portfolio includes EGF Hermes DIFC HNW, where he invests amounts of high-seven-digit figures (USD) in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi stock exchanges since 2014, and NBK SUISSE, where he invests in global equity and financial instruments since 2008 with an amount in the middle-seven-digit range (USD). He also invests in the Egyptian stock exchange as well as in properties in Egypt.
Mr. ELALFI comes from a family with a firm commitment to philanthropy stemming from a deeply rooted tradition of humanitarian and charitable giving. For decades, the family has supported projects that aim to advance Egyptian society and contribute to the country’s advancement. Today, the family channels its development work through Al Alfi Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded by Mr.ELALFI’s father to celebrate and uphold the family legacy of social responsibility and human development. Mr. ELALFI currently sits on the board of the foundation, a position he uses to actively champion STEM education, entrepreneurship and innovation in Egypt and the Middle East. He is also one of the founding members of Al Alfi for Research and Consultancy UAE, an offshoot of Al Alfi Foundation.
Mr. ELALFI earned his high school diploma from Oak Hill Academy, Virginia, USA in 1991 and subsequently attended the American University in Cairo where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, advertising, and public relations in 1996. He is a member in numerous professional organizations including the American Chamber of Commerce Egypt (AMCHAM), AKH-German Chamber of Commerce, the Egyptian Junior Businessman Association (EJB), and the Egyptian Poultry Association (EPA). He holds dual nationality from Egypt and St. Kitts and Nevis and currently resides between Cairo, Egypt and Dubai, UAE with his wife and child. He is the son of Maha ELBADRAWY and Moataz ELALFI, prominent Egyptian businessman and Founder and President of Kuwait Food Company (AMERICANA) 1968-2016 and Founder and Chairman of Egypt Kuwait Holding Company (EKH), a publicly listed enterprise on the Egypt and
Kuwait Stock Exchanges, among other companies.
