The International Baccalaureate (IB) Scholarship

_

In 2013, a partnership between Al Alfi Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education created the IB Scholarship for gifted students in grade 10 to enroll in the British International School in Cairo (BISC) in grades 11 and 12.
The school is well-known as a vibrant international community offering an outstanding British-style education focused on independent learning and the promotion of global citizenship.
The IB Scholarship targets students from official language schools and national Institute schools who are capable of successfully completing the IB requirements of coursework, formal examinations, and extracurricular activities, thus attaining a globally accepted qualification for entry to higher education.
Because of the pandemic situation, the scholarship was suspended. However, the foundation continues to sponsor the eight recipients of this scholarship in their undergraduate studies.
