Al Alfi Foundation Partners with Queen Rania Foundation to Introduce Edraak Platform to Empower Teachers in Egypt
Cairo, Egypt – Al Alfi Foundation has joined forces with the Queen Rania Foundation to introduce the “Edraak” platform for mathematics teachers as an innovative educational technique. The partnership, witnessed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education, signifies Al Alfi Foundation’s ongoing commitment to developing the Egyptian education sector.
Equipping Teachers, Empowering Students
The core objective of this collaboration is to introduce Egyptian mathematics teachers to the Edraak K-12 platform and train them on the new skills-based development methodologies and enquiry learning techniques. Edraak’s K-12 platform offers high quality open educational resources in Arabic targeting K-12 students and their educators across the Middle East and North Africa and enables learners to access sequential and student-centered inquiry-based learning material. The platform also provides key resources for use in the classroom and will eventually align with national curricula. 600 mathematics teachers have been trained by Al Alfi Foundation.
