- Since graduation Ahmed has been working as an Energy Consultant at AKKA Technologies (a globally operating engineering and technology consulting group at the forefront of the digital and connected world), where he had the chance to participate in multiple projects through different roles:
- Research and development engineer in power system dynamic modeling development for Italian transmission system operator.
- Electrical Power Systems Design Engineer in designing and updating the power system network for the West African Power Pool (WAPP) countries.
- Power system security engineer in designing and testing network emergency plans for Italian transmission system operators and WAPP.
