Al Alfi Foundation has accumulated extensive experience in the evaluation of the efficacy of educational programmes. As a result, Al Alfi Foundation is often recruited to assess different programmes and ensure that learning outcomes align with objectives.  The Arab Women’s Enterprise Fund (AWEF) in Jordan and Egypt is supported by the UK Department for International Development and the Islamic Development Bank. In 2018, Al Alfi Foundation was recruited as an independent expert to assess how female learners currently enrolled or targeted by the Queen Rania Foundation’s EDRAAK learning portal adopt EDRAAK products and services in Jordan and Egypt. Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) were held to gauge the possible gap between targeted beneficiaries and actual adopters and to suggest reinforcement techniques to increase adoption rates. AAF conducted FGDs in Cairo and Amman and presented a full report describing the process, providing insights and recommendations for portal and content development, and suggesting possible promotion techniques.
