In December 2018, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation collaborated with Al Alfi Foundation, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at empowering Arab youth. This initiative focused on providing professional training tailored to enhance skills relevant to the knowledge economy. The goal was to cultivate a cadre of well-trained Arab youth, prepared to contribute economically as either employees or entrepreneurs. This agreement was formalized during the fifth annual Knowledge Summit, themed “Youth and the Future of the Knowledge Economy.” The summit served as a global platform, uniting key figures from various fields to discuss, share best practices, and seek solutions to worldwide challenges.
At the summit, Mr. Moataz Al Alfi conducted a session titled “My Experience in Social Responsibility and Supporting Knowledge.” He discussed his three decades of community service, emphasizing the role of social responsibility in nurturing a knowledge-based economy. His talk was not only inspirational but also provided insights into Al Alfi family’s longstanding commitment to philanthropy and sustainable social development.
