  • Since 2013, Menna has been working in Cleantech Arabia as a part-timer; now, she is the Managing Director. Cleantech Arabia is a non-profit organization that supports startups working in the area of clean technologies, with a particular focus on the waste management, renewable energy, water, and transportation sectors. In addition to providing a wide variety of support mechanisms for startups, Cleantech Arabia develops research, awareness, and training programs. 
  • She joined Chemonics Egypt Consultants in 2015, and her title now is Environmental Policy Expert. Both Cleantech Arabia and Chemonics Egypt Consultants collaborate on a lot of projects. Their clients are mainly international donors and Egyptian ministries. 
  • The main projects that she works on are: 
    • Entrepreneurship programs (both incubation and acceleration) for sustainable sectors (renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and food production, and waste management) in the MENA region (Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan, Mauritania, Morocco, Lebanon, and Jordan)
    • Market studies for emerging sustainable sectors (renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, food production, waste management, and water management)
    • Policy gap analysis and recommendations
